Helvetic:
BOOK ONLINE
Switzerland's new budget airline Helvetic Airlines started operations on November 28, 2003. The new aircarrier aims to serve up to 25 destinations in Europe.
Helvetic Airlines presently owns one Fokker 100 aircraft, fitted with engines built by Rolls Royce. Shortly after their maiden flights in 1986, the first planes were delivered to major carriers in Europe and the United States. As of 1993, the flight range was expanded by 450 kilometers (280 miles) thanks to the increase of the take-off weight and the addition of a fuel tank in the middle section of the wings.Easy, economical and safe. That’s how you fly with helvetic. The first Swiss budget airline connects Zurich with important European cities and attractive holiday destinations. You can fly directly to the most central airport of each destination. No long bus and taxi rides, no changing planes. All you have to do is walk onboard, fly, and arrive. And booking early will guarantee you the cheapest prices on all helvetic routes.
